SERVICES
Counseling
Using a trauma informed lens that recognizes the impact of loss, I provide both short and long term therapy for individuals as well as families with a particular emphasis on the needs of children and adolescents.
Clinical Supervision
Given that supervision is an essential component of our work, I provide this service for pre-licensed as well as licensed clinicians. I use both theoretical and clinical frameworks that emphasize social justice and advocacy for the populations we serve.
Training and Consultation
I offer an array of trainings for parents, caregivers, staff and educators. Trainings are tailored to meet identified needs and focus on themes that include, among others, the impact of multiple losses on children, siblings as a protective factor for children in foster care, trauma informed practice and autism spectrum disorders. In addition, I provide consultation to organizations in need of particular expertise in order to improve service delivery to their client base.
Advocacy
Navigating multiple systems for families of children with special needs can be a daunting task and, as such, I assist parents/guardians in this process in order to best meet the needs of their child. Areas within which my services may be useful include educational advocacy, guardianship and ancillary resources.
